50 years experience
as League Operators.
Our ultimate goal is to provide a FUN, COMPETITIVE environment.
We treat our league area as an extended family. We value Community Outreach and participate in yearly fundraisers for Suicide Awareness, Kids to Love, Breast Cancer Awareness, The North Alabama Foodbank, The American Cancer Society, and Backpacks for Schools.
The APA of North Alabama sends the following teams to Las Vegas for the World Pool Championships and World Poolplayers Championship:

We host Local Singles Boards to qualify our players to compete in the Regional Singles and from there (hopefully) advance to the World Poolplayer Championships. In the local singles boards, skill levels might be diverse (although we do our best to divide them by skill level brackets. At the Regional and National level the skill levels are divided by tiers. The winners of the Regionals compete in Las Vegas, NV in April.
Locally, we offer 1) MVP Tournament every session to the Qualifying players. Entry fee is $20 (includes green fees) and the APA of North Alabama Qualifies players for the Regionals who get 3 consecutive wins ($160 Value per player) and awards cash payouts for top competitors 2) A Team Captain and Co Captain Appreciation Tournament once a year, NO ENTRY FEES, NO GREEN FEES, FREE RAFFLES FOR PRIZES, WITH A
$1200 TOTAL PAYOUT
! 3) APA of North Alabama members who have a baby receive their choice of a carton of diapers 4) Veteran's receive 1 year free annual membership 5) Sending Runner Up World Qualifier teams to the Southeast Challenge 6) 75 Age and up club - plays for FREE (excludes green fees to bar) 7) Creating the "Florian Vegas Destination Divisions" to send lucky recipients to Las Vegas during WPC. 8) Weekly patches and 9) Session Awards
