Summer 2014 PlayOff Chart The Summer Session is the ONLY session we Qualify the #1 Point Team Automatically.  Teams that placed first will not play this week.  The Summer Session is a 1 Week PlayOff Format, Round 1 is on the "regular" night with the Finals on Friday night.  Should teams want to play the Final Round of Playoffs EARLIER than Friday they need to give the Local Office as close to 24 hours notice as possible.  Thank you!

This FREE (no entry, no green fees) appreciation tournament is TENTATIVELY scheduled for Feb 2nd noon at Steve's Cue & Grill, this is SINGLE elimination with the APA of North Alabama paying out a total of $300 prize money. 
The Fall 2013 Top Gun event is scheduled for Bumpers on Feb 8/9th.  Registration for both is at 9:30 am, play to start at 10:30am.  8 Ball is Saturday and 9 ball is Sunday.  Invitations will be in your new team packets Week 2 or 3 of the session.  (IF you were a duplicate player that achieved top gun in multiple divisions for the same format, you will only be receiving 1 invitation to be put in the team packet that is earliest in the week). Entry fee is $10 per format, no green fees, with a minimum of $500 added by the APA of North Alabama for EACH format.

We have printed the scoresheets this Monday, delivery will happen Tuesday due to the Labor Day holiday.  If you do NOT see your Tuesday - Thursday teams listed please call LEE as soon as possible!!!  Final Week 1 Fall Session Tues- Thursday schedules are on the Schedule tab.
There are still Summer Play Off Matches being made up/caught up.  These will be complete by Sept 13th.  After the matches are entered, we will switch sessions and players will be able to access their Fall data through the Members Services Accounts.  Until that time, you will need to check the schedules via the Local Website and review your Stats on the Local Website.  Thank you.

Usually, I am able to do a play off chart at the End of Each Session.  Due to working in Vegas for the National Team Event, moving offices, and setting up a new division, I was unable to do this.  Below are listed the Summer #1 Point Teams and/or The Play Off Champion Teams.  There are still 3 divisions that will not have their Finals completed until Sept 13th.  After that date, we will be able to order the trophies, mark teams qualified, and "advance" to Fall Session.  Until we "advance" to next session, the information on the Members Services Account will not be accurate (stats, patches, schedules).  Please continue to use the Local Website until I have announced that we have advanced to the next session.  Thank you!

Please keep in mind that since Monday teams do not start until June 4th there will still be changes to that night.  The MONTHLY divisions do not start back until July and therefore are still "under construction".  
As I have been working solely on this New Summer Session, I have not yet picked up the Final Play Off matches that were played this weekend.  As Steve's Cue & Grill is closed Monday in observation of Memorial Day, I will not be picking these matches up until Tuesday, at which time I will also deliver the Summer Session packets.  I will enter these matches also on Tuesday and have the Spring Play Off Chart updated directly afterwards.  
Starting Wednesday, this local office will start work on the 1st 8 Ball Road to Vegas tournament.  Also on Wednesday, I will post the FINAL list of which teams are playing on which weekend.  It remains to be seen if we can also get the 2nd 8 Ball Road to Vegas processed during this week as well as the 9 Ball Road to Vegas tournament.  Please continue to be patient with us as Cyndi's mother has now been transferred back to the hospital for her remaining days. 
In the week 1 Summer Session packets, you will find extra applications, a copy of your division's roster, 2 Handicap Review forms, new Team Manual (if not picked up during the Player's Meeting on May 19th), and a Local Leaguer that provides a copy of the minutes from the meeting, Summer Session details, and Upcoming Events/Tournaments/New Divisions.  Please use the copy of your division roster to write INDIVIDUAL PLAYER SPORTSMANSHIP comments as well as players that your team perceives as needing a HANDICAP REVIEW.  At the end of the session, we will print out an "ending session" roster for you to compare to the beginning of the session.  This idea was from your Board of Governors.  
Please see the Schedule tab for the Summer Session Schedules.  Keep in mind that schedules AND rosters can change up to the 4th week.  THERE WILL BE NO HOST LOCATION CHANGES AFTER THE START OF THE SESSION WITHOUT A VERY CONVINCING REASON.
Until the Final Play Off matches are entered, your membership services accounts will not reflect the Summer Session rosters and schedules (at least this is MY understanding).
After the Final Play Off matches are entered, I will upload the FINAL Local Stats Reports for the Spring Session.  We will post Top Gun winners for the Spring Session in approximately 2 weeks.  We will be unable to host the following Recognition Tournaments until July due to all the "Road To Vegas" Qualifiers in June: Top Gun, Captian/Co Captain, Sportsmanship, and Lower Level Cash Tournaments. 
Patches from the Final Week of REGULAR Spring Session play and the 2 Play Off weeks will be stuffed in your packets Week 2 of the Summer Session.  End of Session packets will also be in your packets during that week.

Welcome to the Spring 2012 Session!  All schedules are final for Week 1 play.  Please remember that schedules and rosters will change through the 1st 4 weeks of the session.  The only Spring Report you will see (until next week) will be the Rosters.  Please click on the Schedules LINK for your Week 1 schedules.  Until GSV 9 Ball finishes playing (next week is their last week) we cannot advance to the Spring session so this MIGHT affect what your Membership Services Account shows for schedules.
